Singapore’s Automobile Sales in H1 2025

In the first half of 2025, automobile sales (substituted with new registrations data) in Singapore increased by 27.8% year-on-year to 28,694 units, due to an increase in the issuance of vehicle ownership certificates called Certificate of Entitlements (COEs). Of which, ICEVs increased by 10.4% to 7,390 units, while electric vehicles of all kinds rose by 35.2% to 21,304 units. In particular, BEVs grew the most, rising by 63.6% to 11,023 units, contributing to the overall expansion of the electric vehicle market.
