China’s NEV Market: Sales Forecast to Reach 15 Million Units in 2025

China’s new energy vehicle (NEV=BEV+PHEV+FCEV) sales in 2024 is expected to be approximately 13 million units, of which around 1.2 million units went for exports. The annual sales growth was around 37%, which is similar to 2023’s result of 38.2%. In 2025, the NEV market is projected to expand to around 15 million units.
