Overview of Laos’ Automobile Market in 2023

Automobile sales in 2023 (based on import license data) increased by 8.3% from the previous year to 20,908 units. China’s increased infrastructure investment and the country’s rising number of tourists appear to have supported economic growth in Laos, which in turn drove up automobile demand.
