The Philippines’ Automobile Sales Results in 2022

The Philippines’s vehicle sales increased about 24% year-on-year to around 360,000 units in 2022. The figure is based on the combined results of the members of the Philippine automotive industry association CAMPI and truck manufacturers association TMA as well as members of the association of imported vehicle dealers AVID as well as automakers which are not members of the above-mentioned associations. Since some automakers are members of more than one association, figures were adjusted accordingly. Compared to the pre-corona level of 2019 and before, sales have recovered to about 90%.
