Mitsubishi Motors’ Global Production Capacity of Automobiles

Mitsubishi Motors' factory utilization rate in Japan was 51.4% in FY 2021, up 6.5pp from the previous year. Domestic automobile production reached 421,000 units, up 14.7% from the previous year. Although both factory utilization rate and production improved from 2020, the increase was far from significant considering that factory utilization rate was 80.9% and production reached 661,000 units in FY 2018 which were the highest in the past five years.
