Recent Trends of Indonesia’s HEV Market

HEV sales in Indonesia increased by 20.1% year-on-year to 40,988 units from January to September 2024, expanding despite the overall market decrease. The HEV market share in Indonesia rose by 2.0 points to 6.5%. Japanese manufacturers, led by Toyota, dominate the HEV market and its expansion is pushing up sales of Japanese OEMs.
