Recent Trends of Thailand’s HEV Market

HEV sales in Thailand increased by 59.8% year-on-year to 103,784 units from January to September 2024, expanding even as the overall market was shrinking. The HEV market share in Thailand rose by 10.2 points to 19.8%. Japanese manufacturers, led by Toyota, have an overwhelming share of the HEV market and its expansion is providing a tailwind for Japanese manufacturers.
