BYD Commercial Vehicles: New BEV Bus Platform & Expanding Pickup Truck Sales

BYD’s commercial vehicle sales in 2025 exceeded 57,000 units, marking a 2.5-fold increase year-over-year. According to media reports, pickup truck sales reached 39,000 units and served as the primary driver for this sales growth. Revenue from the commercial vehicle business rose 60.5% year-over-year to approximately 11.78 billion yuan, which accounted for about 1.5% of total annual revenue including non-automotive sectors.
