Preliminary Results of 2024 Global Automobile Sales

This report provides preliminary results for global automobile sales for 2024. Automobile sales in the 52 countries included in this report increased by 1.5% year-on-year to 84,141,794 units, accounting for over 90% of the global market. It is estimated that global sales reached approximately 89.5 million units in 2024, and there is a possibility that sales will recover to the pre-coronavirus 2019 level of around 92 million units in 2025.
