SUV categories saw robust growth: compact SUVs rose by 72,000 units year-on-year to 1.425 million units, small SUVs increased by 71,000 units to 631,000 units, and mid-to-large SUVs grew by 36,000 units to 443,000 units, all fueled by fresh model launches. In contrast, entry-level segments contracted sharply, with mini cars (A-segment) down 19,000 units to 95,000 units and lower compacts (A/B-segment) down 20,000 units to 271,000 units.
