CalmCar Expands the Deployment of Level 4 Autonomous Driving Systems

Suzhou CalmCar Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. is a Chinese developer of Level 2 driver assistance systems and Level 4 autonomous driving systems. As the adoption of driver assistance and autonomous driving features expands in the Chinese automotive market, CalmCar ’s revenue reached 480 million CNY in 2024, a 2.4-fold increase from the previous year. In the first half of 2025, revenue hit 160 million CNY, up 2.8 times year-over-year. Within this growth, revenue from the Level 4 autonomous driving system business expanded rapidly, reaching 240 million CNY in 2024 (a 33.1-fold increase from the previous year) and 89.96 million CNY for the period of January to June 2025 (a 10.5-fold increase year-on-year), accounting for more than half of total revenue. To expand the operation of Level 4 autonomous driving systems, the company has stepped up the commercialization of Robobuses and Robotaxis.
