Recent Sales Performance of BMW in the Japanese Market

BMW’s sales volume in Japan was 21,433 units in the first eight months of 2024, nearly identical compared to the same period last year. In the foreign brand vehicle market, BMW’s sales increased by 1.1 points to 14.7%. Sales of the 5 Series and X2 rose following full-model changes, but sales of the 3 Series and X1 declined. In addition, a low-priced version of the X1 was introduced in May 2024, and the 1 Series and X3 are scheduled to undergo a complete overhaul at the end of 2024, so it is expected that sales will increase.
