Honda Motor is revising its domestic vehicle lineup. The automaker discontinued sales of the Legend luxury sedan in January 2022, and plans to end sales of the Odyssey MPV and the second generation NSX sports car at the end of the year. In addition, sales of the Shuttle, CR-V and Insight models are expected to be discontinued also. Honda is terminating models with low sales volume, but the company is considering launching a new model in the midsize SUV segment whose popularity has been growing in Japan. In addition, the Honda Vezel compact SUV was launched in April 2021 followed by the Civic hatchback in August. In 2022, the new Step WGN is scheduled to be released in May.
