Logistics Company Huolala Diversifies Business in China, Steps Up Operations Overseas

Shenzhen Huolala Technology, a logistics company, was founded in Hong Kong in 2013, entering the mainland Chinese market in the following year. The company provides intra-city and intercity freight transportation, moving services, logistics service for companies, small-lot transportation, automobile leasing and sales, and international logistics. As of 2020, Huolala operated in 352 cities in mainland China and 22 overseas cities.

Initially, the company has engaged in urban freight transportation, but in order to expand operations, Huolala has also launched intercity freight transportation business using heavy trucks. In August 2020, the company began international logistics service called H66, opening distribution routes from five Chinese cities Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan and Jinhua to several countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. Huolala also procures automobiles from manufacturers and leasing and selling them to contract drivers. Against the backdrop of stricter environmental regulations, the company is increasing the procurement of NEVs. In 2020, Huolala concluded deals with Ruichi Automobile and Changan Kaicene to procure several 1,000 NEVs within the year.
