Mitsubishi Motors’ 2022 Sales Results of Automobiles in Japan

Mitsubishi Motors' automobile sales in Japan in 2022 increased for the second consecutive year, going up 16.6% year-on-year to 90,555 units. Although sales did not surpass the pre-corona levels of over 100,000 units due to the shortage of semiconductors, demand greatly improved compared to the previous two years. Mitsubishi’s market share increased by 0.4 point to 2.2%, exceeding pre-corona levels.
