CALB to Launch Drive Batteries for BEVs, REEVs, PHEVs, and eVTOL Aircraft

China’s CALB has been the third largest drive battery maker in the world since 2021 ranking behind CATL and BYD. It had an annual drive battery capacity of 36.5 GWh and a global market share of 6.7% in 2024. In addition to launching new products and increasing production capacity, CALB is entering the eVTOL aircraft and ship sectors.
