Thailand’s Automobile Exports in 2025

In 2025, Thailand’s automotive export volume fell 8.2% year-on-year to 936,000 units. The primary cause was a significant decline in passenger vehicles (sedans, hatchbacks, and SUVs) due to the end of production for several export models. While demand for electrified vehicles is expanding in key destinations such as Vietnam and the Philippines, Thailand’s exports remain centered on ICEVs, leading to a perceived decline in product competitiveness.
