Honda Motor’s 2025 Automobile Sales in Japan

In 2025, Honda’s automobile sales in Japan fell 7.3% year-on-year to 619,000 units, with its market share shrinking 1.6 percentage points to 13.6%. The year 2025 saw a limited rollout of new high-volume models, restricted to the launch of the Prelude and N-One e: in September. Additionally, overall performance was dragged down by price revisions for major models—including the N-Box, Fit, Civic, Vezel, ZR-V, and Freed—alongside sluggish sales in the mini vehicle segment.
