Mahindra’s Two New Strategic BEV Models

Major Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra launched two new BEV models in November 2024: the compact SUV BE 6e and the midsize SUV XEV 9e. A key selling point of both models is that they are India’s first vehicles that feature software-defined vehicle (SDV) technology. Additionally, their price is relatively low for a BEV. Both models are built on Mahindra’s new skateboard EV architecture INGLO, reducing cost through standardization.
