South Korea’s 2025 Automobile Sales by Segment

The South Korean automotive market grew by 3.2% year-on-year (YoY) to 1.68 million units in 2025, supported by improving economic sentiment driven by individual consumption tax cuts on vehicles and the new Lee Jae-myung administration's economic policies. This upward momentum continued into 2026, with Q1 sales rising 5.3% YoY to 410,000 units.
