APG Transitions to Electrified Mobility with In-Wheel Motor Production

Chinese automotive supplier Zhejiang Asia-Pacific Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd. (APG) develops, manufactures, and sells automotive braking systems, electronic control systems, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). In FY 2025, revenue rose 31.6% year-on-year to 5.61 billion CNY, while operating profit reached 510 million CNY, 2.2 times the previous year’s figure. By product segment, automotive braking systems fell from 79.2% of total revenue in 2021 to 68.1% in 2025. Conversely, electronic control systems expanded from 13.2% in 2021 to 29.0% over the same period. Profitability also steadily improved, with the operating margin reaching 9.2% in FY 2025 and rising further to 11.1% in Q1 2026 (Jan–Mar).
