BYD’s Overseas Passenger Vehicle Business

Leading Chinese NEV manufacturer BYD has announced that export sales of NEV passenger vehicles in 2023 increased 4.4 times from the previous year to 243,000 units. In a global market dominated by ICEVs, BYD’s competitively priced NEVs offer new options for car purchasing. In the first half of 2024, NEV passenger vehicle sales in overseas markets reached 203,000 units, up 2.7 times from the same period last year. As of July 2024, BYD’s global market coverage has expanded to 88 countries and regions.
