Hong Kong’s Automobile Market in 2024

Hong Kong’s automobile sales increased 1.0% year-on-year to 52,232 units in 2024. It appears that the market size has been boosted by Chinese brands’ enhanced sales promotion through low pricing. Although demand has already exceeded the pre-COVID-19 level of 2019, it remains at 75% of the most recent peak in 2015.
