Nissan Motor's domestic vehicle sales in 2021 dropped 3.6% from the previous year to 451,671 units. Monthly sales in the first five months of the year (except February) exceeded 2020’s results but dropped below the previous year’s level for the rest of the year. Standard passenger vehicle sales went up 7.4% to 226,533 units, but demand for standard commercial vehicles and mini vehicles fell 13.7% to 47,751 units and 12.3% to 177,380 units respectively.
