Overview of the Middle East’s 2024 Automobile Market

Automobile sales in the Middle East (10 countries*) decreased by 1.3% from the previous year to 2,810,802 units. While Saudi Arabia (up 6.6% to 828,000 units) and the United Arab Emirates (up 15.7% to 319,000 units) exceeded their previous year’s results, Iran, the largest market in the region, experienced a 13.6% decrease to 1.01 million units, pushing down the overall sales.
