Indonesia: Automobile Market Projection for 2026

Indonesia’s new vehicle sales are projected to drop by 11.3% year-on-year to 768,000 units in 2025. While a recovery to 800,000 units (up 4.2% year-on-year) is forecast for 2026, it is expected that reaching the 1-million-unit level—a benchmark maintained stably throughout the 2010s—will take some time.
